At the Herbarium, Part III: Tucking Things Safely Away

Now that the plants are all identified and mounted and have tidy little folders, it is time to store them properly. The human female says that if they don’t catch fire, get wet, mold, or become lunch for bugs, they will last indefinitely. Yes indeed, the way to preserve nature is to keep it away from…nature.

The plants in this herbarium are stored in metal cases. Sigyn, do you see? Sigyn–where are you?


Oh, there you are! Hello, my love!


The human female says she wants to file me here…


…and is giggling and mumbling something about “psycho.”

I think she’s been sniffing the glue.
