Somehow, no matter how many flowers she looks at or plays with or reads about, Sigyn is always just as excited to meet the next batch. It’s one of the sweet, simple things I love about her.
Today she has discovered some dish gardens full of pansies. Or, as Sigyn calls them, “little flower faces.” And this is outside the Military Sciences building, of all places. Nothing for it but to sit amongst them and soak up the warm spring sun. After several days of chilly wind, it feels wonderful.
Did you know that the yellow ones have a very strong, sweet scent? The human female says it’s a bit like Carolina Yellow Jessamine. Since I don’t know what that smells like, I can’t say if she’s lying or not. I’m betting the answer is yes.
However, Sigyn thinks the purple ones are prettier.
Though these arguably have the nicest, most face-like markings. Still, I think hers is the prettiest face in the whole lot.
