What’s For Dinner?, Part III: Ta Da, Baa!

It is time to put the finishing touches on the meal.  Sigyn is not sure what these orange things are  or what they’re for.

The human female says that fruit is often included in Moroccan stews.  Lacking prunes (thank you!), she is using apricots today.

Hope you washed the kitchen shears before you started snipping those dried drupes, mortal, because I know what was the last thing I cut with them

We could add some nuts at this point–almonds or pistachios are nice, but today the human female has pulled something else out of the cooling unit.

Sigyn is interested because they’re red, but I have not tried these before.  I don’t trust them.  I’ll be watching to see if anyone chokes…

Now, it just remains to see if the couscous is done, and to fluff it if it is.

Done?  Check.  Fluffed? Check.  A bit of parsley to add some much-needed green?  Check!

Plate it up and we’re ready to eat.

The Cubic Baa-squeal smells good.  Probably somewhat nutritious.  But I’m going to have to take off big points for plating and another handful for food styling and photography.

And that name.
